Chris Kennedy is the Managing Director and a Business Owner at Gold Real Estate Group, a Harcourts franchise that operates the 2nd top Harcourts office internationally. Being in real estate for over 29 years, Chris has industry knowledge across all sectors of the business. Starting off as a real estate sales person in Invercargill, Chris then moved through management to become a business owner before moving to the corporate side of the business where he progressed to hold the role of CEO for Harcourts New Zealand. Chris has played an integral part in the leadership, growth and success of the Harcourts brand over recent years. In 2010 Chris won the REINZ Auctioneering Competition and continues to drive his passion for auctions. Nowadays however Chris focuses on making a difference for nationwide charities and local communities where his skills really shine raising millions of dollars for great causes over the last decade. Chris was also proud to be part of the advisory team which united thousands of kiwis into a crowdfunding campaign that ensured Awaroa beach in the Abel Tasman was kept in the hand of New Zealanders for New Zealanders to enjoy. Outside of real estate, Chris has a real passion for riding his Jetski, enjoys motor racing and travel but gets the most satisfaction when he is giving back to local communities who need him most.
